Before the national stage, Steven built his foundation right here on Long Island. As a standout at St. Dominic's, he quickly established himself as one of the top high school players in the region, earning recognition as the number one ranked prospect in 2011.

Steven's freshman campaign at Stony Brook was historic. As a Louisville Slugger First Team Freshman All-American, he helped lead the Seawolves on an unforgettable run to the College World Series in Omaha.
In the 2012 Super Regionals against LSU, on national ESPN television, Steven delivered clutch performances that helped clinch Stony Brook's first-ever trip to Omaha — a moment that defined his career and shaped his coaching philosophy.

Steven played 118 games across the Cape Cod League, Northwoods League, NYCBL, and ACBL — competing alongside and against future MLB stars every single day.

Today, Steven is dedicated to developing the next generation of Long Island baseball talent. Drawing from his experiences at the highest levels of college and summer league baseball, he brings a unique perspective that combines elite-level technique with the mental toughness needed to compete.
